John Arnold, Ph.D.
Dr. Arnold is a psychologist who has worked at Lake Chelan Community Hospital since 1999. He earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1991 and is licensed as a psychologist in Washington and Colorado. He provides psychological assessment, psychotherapy and family counseling/education for patients at the Sanctuary. He has worked in a number of inpatient settings over the years including other chemical dependency treatment programs. His research interests have included the topics of PTSD and dissociation and he is currently interested in studying impulsivity and its relationship to addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Kathy Hevly, MSN, PHMNP-BC
Kathy has been with behavioral care services as a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2005. She provides comprehensive medication management and counseling to adults in Chelan and Wenatchee through the Behavioral Care Services outpatient program. In addition, she is a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing medical detox services and counseling for the inpatient program. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the International Nurses Society on Addictions. Kathy earned her BSN, MSN and PHMNP from Washington State University. She enjoys time with her grandchildren, horseback riding, camping, boating and traveling.
