1. Do you need my contact information?
Please bring contact information, including mailing address and telephone numbers for anyone who may need to be contacted during your stay. This could include probation officers, case workers, counselors, lawyers, physicians, etc.
2. How does my medication get handled?
It is very important you let Intake staff know what medications you are currently taking at home, including prescription and over the counter medications. Please bring your current medications with you in their original prescription bottle (no med trays or boxes).
Any unauthorized medications(medications that were not prescribed to you, are outdated or not identifiable) will be destroyed upon admission into the facility (i.e. Suboxone, Klonopin, Xanax, Oxycontin, Ambien, etc.)
3. Will my insurance cover the cost of my treatment?
The Sanctuary at Lake Chelan accepts many commercial insurance, Medicare and Private Pay. However, insurance rarely covers the entire cost of treatment. As a courtesy to you, we will contact your insurance company to determine your available benefits and the associated out of pocket costs. We will advocate for you to receive as much insurance reimbursement as your benefit and authorization permits. It is necessary for you to remember that our professional relationship is with you and not with your insurance carrier. Additional costs will be your responsibility and our Business Office will make payment arrangements with you prior to your admission. Treatment is expensive, but should be viewed as your investment in your life in recovery and the lives of those you love.
4. I have special dietary needs. Will this be a problem?
With advance proper notice we are able to accommodate most specialized dietary needs within reason.
5. Can I bring my laptop?
I need to stay connected to “my job, my family, my creditors, etc.” No, our goal is to have you fully engaged in treatment and not be distracted.
6. Can I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not allowed on the unit.
7. Do you offer private rooms?
We have a combination of private and semi-private rooms. The private rooms are assigned by the treatment team regarding individual needs and availability. There is no guarantee of a private room by any patient.
8. If I am formally discharged by the clinical/administrative staff or have to terminate my treatment early will I receive a refund?
All refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis. Any refund that is forthcoming would not be issued until the patient chart is officially completed and closed out by hospital staff.
