Born and raised in New Zealand, Kathryn Ruth Hickey earned her diploma in midwifery there in 1991 where she then proceeded to learn and grow in her chosen field until fate led to Hawaii in 2001. After a few years of nursing in Oahu, Kathryn and her husband moved to Chelan, lured by its small town community feeling and a unique mountainside life style she embraced. Kathryn has been employed at LCCH Since 2006 as an obstetric nurse. After nearly 25 years in nursing and midwifery, Kathryn still feels there is no better day than one in which she can help bring a healthy new baby into this world. Patients will remember Kathryn for her New Zealand accent and appreciate her for her experience and patience.
Beth Felker, RN has been at Lake Chelan Hospital since 2012. She has had a variety of nursing experiences over the past 40 years, as well as the life experience of raising four sons! She has special training in lactation and keeps up with the latest trends and evidence-based practices in obstetrics, attending conferences and classes.
