The Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation is dedicated to providing and improving healthcare facilities and services in our community. Your investment in our organization ensures that individuals in our community receive exceptional healthcare close to home.
Organization
The Board of Directors is made up of 18 Lake Chelan Valley citizens dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the community. These men and women are community leaders who bring diversified interests and strengths to the boardroom. The Foundation is incorporated and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501C3 non-profit charitable organization. Contributions are tax deductible under their regulations.
Endowment Fund
In 2002 an Endowment Fund was established by the Foundation for future capital improvements of the Lake Chelan Community Hospital. Initially, funds were provided by a generous donation of two town homes in area. In 2003, a bequest of cash was added. The goal is to accumulate a million dollars in this fund so that the earnings can be used for major needs of the hospital
Accomplishments & Purchases
- Emergency Room equipment (cardiac monitors, exam tables & EKG machine)
- Sterilization equipment and cautery machine in Operating Room
- Mobile Fluoroscopy X-Ray Unit and Anesthesia Monitor for Operating Room
- New lights and table in Operating Room
- C-Arm X-Ray unit and Recovery Cardiac Monitor
- Cardiac Central Station
- Hospital TeleRadiology project
- New recovery rooms with essential equipment for monitoring patients
- Portable bedside monitors and IV pumps
- 1992-1997 “Commitment to Caring” campaign raised funds to add a third floor to the existing hospital structure. Pledges, cash and in-kind donations totaling nearly a million dollars helped to finish this project!
